These terms and conditions apply to private consumers’ purchase of goods on our website. Purchase agreements are contracted in English and are legally binding when you receive an order confirmation.
We reserves the right to modify at any moment the present general sales conditions. Nevertheless, the general sales conditions applicable to the order placed by a customer on the wonderium are those accepted at the time of placing the order.

Shopping

Placing an order

Our website is open 24 hours a day – 7 days a week. It may happen that we close our online shop for maintenance. You can only make purchases when the store is open and available.

To be able to shop on our website you must be at least 18 years old and possess a valid credit card. If you are not yet 18 years old, you may still purchase items if you have obtained your guardian’s consent or otherwise have a legal right to enter into the purchase.

Order confirmation

Once you place an order on the wonderium, you will receive an email confirmation of the purchase. This includes a summary of the order, the item(s), the quantity, the price of the selected products, the payment method and the delivery address.

If you haven’t received it, it could be because your order hasn’t been approved and not processed. So just in case check if your order confirmation could be in the junk mail of your mailbox and if the e-mail address you provided is correct. If you’re still missing an order confirmation, don’t hesitate to contact us.

Payment

All prices on our website are in Euros. For wonderium, security of the payments and confidentiality of information that you give us are taken very serioulsy. The website uses a protected mode of payment SSL (Secure Socket Layer), which allows the encoding of your banking co-ordinates during their transmission over Internet. You can see that the transmission is encrypted by software from the padlock symbol which appears in your navigator. For even more safety, the transaction is carried out via Stripe which alone receives the banking information provided on the site at the time of the payment. When you enter your bank card number to pay for your purchases, in reality you transmit your banking data directly to Stripe, which records them in its highly-protected server. This information is not forwarded by any intermediary, not even us, and is not stored either by our technical service providers.

Shipping

Shipping destination

We can currently ship most of our items* to the following European Union countries: Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Luxembourg and Netherlands.

No delivery to PO boxes, islands and special territories.

*The Rainbow chair is a heavy and bulky item. So unfortunately for now we are only able to ship it to the following destinations: Belgium, France, Germany, Luxembourg and Netherlands. We are working with our transporter to find a way to deliver it safely to more countries very soon.

BREXIT – Delivery to UK
Please note, as the UK is no longer part of the EU unfortunately we currently cannot ship any of our products there. Our warehouse being located in Belgium and being a small business, the cost of shipping, taxes and duties would simply be too high to cover. We’ll try our best to find a solution in the near future for UK customers to be able to buy some of our products soon.

Delivery

All our goods are stored in the warehouse of our fulfilment company in Belgium, and will be shipped with a special courier to your delivery address. You will be contacted directly regarding the time of delivery so you can make sure to be home at the address upon delivery. If you happen not to be home at the agreed time of delivery, your item might be returned to the warehouse. In that case, please contact us directly for further assistance.

Estimated delivery time and shipping costs

Currently the articles in stock are generally delivered in Europe within 3 to 5 working days. Bulky items deliveries, like the Rainbow chair, are a bit longer and can take up to 10 days.

Delivery costs can vary according to the number of products and the volume of these in your cart. For the specific price of your order, please go to check out and select your delivery country.

Track your order

When your order has been shipped from our warehouse, you receive an e-mail with a trackinglink. If you haven’t received an e-mail, please check your junk filter and whether you provided the correct e-mail address.
If you have any doubts or questions, please contact our customer service via our contact page. Remember to include your order number so we can help you as fast as possible.

I received a damaged, wrong or missing item

In case the delivery appears damaged, we ask you to receive with reservation. If the contents are damaged, or for any other problem with your order, please contact our customer service as soon as possible to inform us of it, via our contact form.

Returns

Can I return an item?

If you are not 100% happy with your purchase, you have a legal right to 7 days as from the reception of the goods to tell us your intention to return a product and the reason for this return. All items can be returned, except those marked to the contrary. We will only accept items which are in perfect, unused condition and in the original packaging. Any product which is damaged, incomplete, or whose original packing is deteriorated or missing, will be neither refunded nor exchanged.

Please email us prior your return. Once we have given you a return authorization number, you must return the item to our warehouse in Belgium as soon as possible and within a maximum delay of 14 days.

When your return is received at the warehouse, the return process will begin. This can be expected to take up to a few days during busy periods. As soon as the return process is finished you will receive a credit note on email and a refund to the same account as used for the purchase.

Who pays for return?

To do the return the easiest way, we ask you to fill out the return slip and add it to the package you wish to return. You choose yourself which shipping company you’ll use but it’s important to choose one which have the delivery option “from door to door” because it’s not possible for us to pick up parcels in parcels shops. Unfortunately you cover the return costs yourself.

Note: Costumers must pay the costs of returning goods.

If the complaint is justified, we will obviously refund your reasonable shipping costs to send the product back to us. Otherwise, you must bear all costs of transport, including our freight costs for returning the item after the investigation. Remember that the product must always be in good packaging and get a receipt for shipment. You have the responsibility of the package / goods up to our reception. So keep postal receipt and tracking number.

Note: We do not accept packages sent COD (cash on delivery) or the like.
